The forum took up four initiatives which involve the Building of Hyderabad-Sukkur (306KM), 6-lanes, Development of the Northern Segment of Ring Road from Warsak Street to Nasir Bagh Street and Restoration & Revamping of Gujjar and Orangi Nullahs.

The CDWP encouraged the Design of Hyderabad-Sukkur (306KM), 6-lanes divided fenced motorway on a BOT foundation to the ECNEC. The complete cost of the task is Rs 308,194. million and NHA will execute the project.

The challenge envisages development of 306-kilometre very long, 06-lane vast, access-managed Hyderabad–Sukkur-Motorway.                                                                                                               

The motorway is proposed as a large-pace toll highway facility for efficient and safe transportation, which will start off from Hyderabad (finish of Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway M-9) and terminates at Naro Canal (Start of Sukkur – Multan Motorway-M-5).

The venture alignment passes by Jamshoro, Tando Adam, Hala, Shahdadpur, Nawabshah, Moro, Dadu, Naushahro Feroze, Mehrabpur, Rasoolpur, Larkana, Khairpur and Sukkur.

The scope of operate includes the development of a 1-most important bridge in excess of the River Indus, 15-Interchanges, 6-flyovers, 19- overpass bridges, 76-Canal bridges, 154-subways, 137-Cattle Creeps and drainage structure.

The goal of the task is to promote the smooth movement of website traffic on the Karachi ~ Lahore Motorway (KLM) portion i.e., from Hyderabad to Sukkur. The scope of do the job includes the building of 3 lanes dual carriageway, intersection, flyover, bridges, culverts, underpasses, retaining partitions and shifting of utilities.

The task aimed to tackle the traffic challenge confronted in Peshawar primarily, on Warsak Road, G.T Road, Khyber Highway and Jamrud Road and intersections positioned on these Streets.

The objective of the venture is to provide a bypass to the traffic plying in between the Northern regions and Afghanistan and that plying amongst the metropolis and outskirts situated on Northern facet of G.T Road – Jamrud Street N-5) and Hayatabad City, Khyber Company and Regi Model Town, Askari-6, DHA and many others.                                                                                                                        

 It will supply an alternate route to the town traffic, open up new areas of development so as to place the city advancement in a radial pattern instead than in a linear direction along G.T – Jamrud Road (N-5). It will also cut down environmental pollution.

The forum encouraged restoration & revamping of two projects of Gujjar and Orangi Nullahs in Karachi to ECNEC with a revised fees of Rs 14,956.46m and Rs 15,083.18m respectively. Chairman NDMA responded to the observations of the CDWP.
