Finance yet to act against 51 accounting officers

The Ministry of Finance is yet to choose action against the 51 accounting officers that have been proposed by Parliament to be dropped.

The Ministry’s Deputy Long lasting Secretary and Secretary to Treasury, Patrick Ocailap, has informed New Eyesight that the Ministry can not just take motion devoid of pursuing the legislation.

According to the Community Finance and Administration Act 2015, the accounting officers are appointed on the recommendation of the Inside Auditor.
